August 21, 20242 yr Crystal Palace have just agreed to let "quality" midfield talent leave for good - We are Palace
August 22, 20242 yr This looks like a good signing from previous loans / media comments. Fast about the park, willing to learn and talented. We have needed someone who can pick out a pass, is energetic and can slot into an already capable midfield. Now all we maybe need is someone who can put 15 a year in the back of the net ......................... Edited August 22, 20242 yr by The Original 59er

August 22, 20242 yr It seems unearthing a 10+ striker these days are VERY thin on the ground. A number of clubs manage it and theoretically we should also be able to find one or two. I know it's diferent from the 60's and 70's and there are probably less players out there now than there were then who seek to step up, but you could find them in a variety of levels and teams. You just have to think of McGarvey, Somner, Ally McLeod or Peter Kane even...... you could probably expect 12+ out of each of them, and I think Dougie Somner was the only one we paid for.

Mandron did break into double figures last season - not a bad return for zero fee ... Not trying to put him anywhere near the bracket of some of the names above , but highlighting these players exist without spending fortunes 🤞🤞 Looks like this season Robbo is happy to rotate all his strikers and give them all minutes - so even less likely, at this stage that one player will dominate game time - Olu without question has been way way more threatening and productive than the rest

September 28Sep 28 Congrats to Killian, alway good to see our players getting a chance on the international scene. Thing is, I don't think he got a mention on the St Mirren website that he got a call up, hopefully I'm wrong
