The big boy Soutar at the back looked very good, the two wide players Johnstone and Coote were greetin faced wee scrotes. It was Johnstone that had to be pulled away after the whistle. Gow and Agnew played. In the first half they were both shite, second half only Gow was shite, DEV LEAGUE TEAM ST MIRREN 2 DUNDEE UNITED 1February 9, 2016 The Young Terrors deserved better than to lose 2-1 in today’s Development League fixture at Renfrew’s New Western Park. By Peter Rundo The visitors were first to threaten, defender Jassem Sukar firing just over after three minutes. United continued to have the better of things and a Cammy Ballantyne effort was deflected inches over on 26 minutes. So it was very much against the run of play that Saints went ahead after 32 minutes. Sukar was harshly adjudged have to handled when blocking Jason McGrath’s shot from close range and Alan Gow converted the resultant penalty. The second half was a similar story with the visitors creating by far and away the greater number of chances. Ballantyne was only denied by a finger-tip save by home keeper Reece Willison 13 minutes after the restart. And only an offside flag prevented Justin Johnson’s shot counting just after the hour mark. But as was the case in the opening half, the Paisley side again scored on the break, Conor O’Keefe side-footing home Jordan Stewart’s low cross midway through the second half. Two minutes later, Jordan Garden sent a header flashing past the post as the Tannadice side looked to respond. A Coote shot was cleared off the line with seven minutes left and four minutes later United did get some reward when the referee mysteriously awarded a hotly disputed penalty which Johnson duly converted. February 10, 201610 yr Agree with insaintee don't recall the match as how utds biased report states. Dundee did have a lot of possession first half but never came that close to scoring. We got a stone wall penalty which Gow dispatched. Second half we were much better with Agnew playing well and created more chances than them scoring a well worked goal. Their penalty was mysterious as looked more like a foul for us. We weren't at our best today but thought we defended really well and hit them hard on the break. Handbags at the end was entertaining mostly caused by Utds players a bit upset that we brought their winning streak to an end.

Think it was him who stood on Saints player (Had turned away never saw who it was on the ground)right at the end and started the rammy. Must admit, when I saw the big lad Souttar at the back I thought he looked like a big lumbering guy who would be a bit cumbersome and just boot the ball up the park at every opportunity, but he showed some pretty nice touches and was confident on the ball. with good guidance he could develop into an excellent CH, big strong and solid.

Yes It was the number 11 that stamped on one of our players Think it was . Cudehey he stamped on. It was the number 7 who kicked off. Souter had a good game, but so did our back 4.
