3-1 Hibs with saints opening the scoring for false hope.

End of an era. Shame. Bought my season ticket before last season had even ended. Was thinking the League Cup was gonna be a watershed moment for Saints and we were gonna kick on. Experienced players

  • If danny walk's this week, the board and half the fcuking players should walk with him, without doubt a fair share of the blame lies at dannys door but there's no doubt he's been let down big time

  • Like others on here I'm starting to give up on caring, it's a resigned feeling that we will lose every game at the moment, Danny should have been punted after the thistle game, he wasn't and now we lo

Going by the law of averages we are due a win, therefore more in hope rather than expectation I like every other St.mirren fan hope and pray this is the time/game we do it.

Did you factor in Lennon's tactical cluelessness ?

We are hoping County beat Hearts this weekend, desperate stuff already.

Are we?

Thanks for telling us what we're hoping for.

TBH I was more along the lines of a Lottery Win.

PS After that, a St Mirren win. thumbup2.gif

Think that was Newton on Saturday.

FWIW. I would start with the same formation and drop Teale to the bench, bringing him on second half, for Caprice and even Newton for McGinn v Hibs.

Eh your mad

Really can't see a win. It's been a long time since I have attended matches knowing our frontline is not good enough to cause excitement. Sure we get the occasional flurry a cross and a header but nothing much to excite . I hope I'm wrong but I can't see many goals. I will go for a dreary 0-0. Danny needs more than one win to save himself by the way. Beating hibs doesn't make it alright only a run like that of stjohnstone last year will do

Did you factor in Lennon's tactical cluelessness ?

I did, but thought I,d stick with the game against Hibs itself rather than start off another thread about Lennon Must Go

Naw !

I saw improvement in the motherwell game, if we can build on that then i see this as a draw or maybe a win.

I must have blinked and missed that bit !

In comparison to the Partick game where we were a shambles. We had more of a shape about us and kept a decent amount of possession. Still not the standard in which we should have been playing, but a step in the right direction. We really just need forwards who work well together who can get on to the end of all the crosses teale is firing in. Not saying things are rosey, we didnt play well, but it was an improvement over our previous performances.

I just think that here's more hope in our performances than actual purpose !

We have as much chance at winning this as i have of going to the moon 3 or 4 nil Hibs.

"The Elvis has Landed" ? One step for man , two for the show ! :-)
