"I get on really well with Jacob Devaney’s dad. I was doing some training with him off-season and he couldn't speak highly enough of the club. As soon as I spoke to him, I knew what a good club it was, and I couldn't wait to get here.

A couple of years and he'll be too good for Scottish football.

The 23-year-old joins Saints on a season-long loan to become our 10th signing of the summer.

According to St Mirren mercury Aberdeen have stalled in talks over Phillips because of the fee and there's also interest from Belgium.

I think we've all seen this situation before.

Hope we get enough time to get a replacement in before the window shuts cos the Free Agent market is more miss than hit.

Not alot of first team experience for the lad from Man U but if he has come through their academy he must have something about him especially at our level.

On 3 February 2025, he joined Tranmere Rovers on loan, along with Sam Mather, until the end of the season. In August 2025, Louis signed for Solihull Moors on loan. He was recalled the following January.

Don't think Deveney had much first team experience and, TBH, I'd imagine the level he's been play with ng at wouldn't be a million miles from the SPFL. 😉
