Lex got a reaction from Questions? in Kilty BuddieSpoke to the gentleman a few times at games. Top man and top Buddie, brought a bit of colour to our support. Thoughts with his family.
RIP.

Perhaps Kello has signalled his intent to leave (as I would expect), and Danny is wanting to show faith in Dilo, and to gauge whether he warrants a contract extension. I think Dilo is a great propsect. He needs to learn to command his area more effectively, and to bark instructions at the defence, but, for a lad his age, he is definitely not looking out of place, and is worthy of a two year deal, in my opinion.

Lex reacted to Drew in How Many Points?Whit?
They have to play each other, so they couldn't all get 6 points from the last two matches.

Lex got a reaction from Leicester Saint in St Mirren V Ross County, Sat 3Rd May 2014Very nervy about this. All set up really, a home game against a team below us who are woeful away from home. We've played them off the park in the 1 and 2/3rd games between the sides in Paisley so far. A game we should be winning, no doubt about it.
If we do win we are 100% safe IMO. It just seems like it's a bit too... Simple. Doesn't seem like the St Mirren way to win this one. Hope we do though...

Lex got a reaction from Leicester Saint in How Many Points?Amount of points is inconsequential.
What is important is the huge post split game at Firhill and/or RP when we need a win. Important enough to bring a travelling support of approx 3000 and show the clubs around us what kind of football club they're dealing with.
Important enough to inspire our players to a vital victory, again.

Lex got a reaction from whydowebother in Who Do You Want To See Finish 11Th?County without a doubt. Shite wee club, no fans and too far away. Oh, and their manager is an odious little scrote.
I think it will be Killie though.

Lex reacted to FTOF in Partick Thistle V St Mirren (Rip Simon Richardson)Just watched the first half.
Not a great performance, and Higginbottom's poor tackle gave us a boost at a time when we looked in a bit of trouble.
Stonewall penalty and superbly taken too by McLean.
Both Naismith and McAusland culpable for their goal.
Half arsed attempt to stop the cross by Naismith and f**k knows what McAusland was doing.
On the plus side, Goodwin was great and McLean ably supported him.
The beer festival was brilliant too.

Lex reacted to saintargyll in Partick Thistle V St Mirren (Rip Simon Richardson)First half was chronic....last 5 mins of first half all we needed ( by all accounts)
the hype ruined it...McGinn was rubbish....McGowan was rubbish...<<<<<flair players
McLean was great
BUT.......GOODWIN was IMMENCE,AMAZING and OUTSTANDING
Goodwin just does NOT get enough praise and especially from our own support

Lex reacted to Rod in Partick Thistle V St Mirren (Rip Simon Richardson)A poor performance and I fear we are not out the woods yet. Fingers crossed.
The Simon Richardson tribute came across very well on the tv.
I am not family but I was a very close friend of Simon and I have been in touch with Simon's family this evening. They are extremely grateful for the support shown by Saints and Jags fans tonight. The support shown over the last 6 months by Saints fans, St Mirren FC and The B&W Mag has been fantastic. Simon's family are extremely proud and rightly so.
Proud to be a Buddie. Thank you all.

Lex got a reaction from Desperately Seeking Susans in Partick Thistle V St Mirren (Rip Simon Richardson)Cranked it up last 5 and got the rewards.
Just aswell Thistle are rubbish, because we have been terrible.
If we play to the standard we are capable of second half we win. If we continue with this rubbish, we won't.

Reminds me a bit like the cup final. Shite first half and still managed to scramble ourselves in even at half time.

Lex reacted to BAWZ in Lennon OutJust remember that Danny hasn't had to face R*ng*rs 3 times a season for two out of the four he's been here.

Lex reacted to Rod in Partick Thistle V St Mirren (Rip Simon Richardson)I was at the 3-0 game at Fir Hill on 10th November 2013 with Simon, my mate of 39 years, his nephew Keith, and another best friend Jim. Jim, Simon and me had stood on the Love Street North Bank from a young age - I lost count of the number of games we saw, home and away.
10th November will forever be etched in my brain. We had an excellent day out - beers, watching the Saints win, curry and laughs - exactly what best mates should do. Shortly after midnight I said my farewells to Simon and planned to do it all again a month later away to Motherwell. I walked one way, Simon walked the other. Shortly afterwards some random bastard killed him for no apparent reason. I was the lucky one. Not only is this an attack on my best mate, it's an attack on society - it could have happened to anyone reading this.
I can't bring myself to attend tomorrow - do Simon proud Saints.
The murder trial begins on 9th June. Justice for Simon.
