McGinn really is a cut above. Man of the match in my book, didn't put a foot wrong and did all the grafting.

Points for improvement, Billy the fish needs to get his confidence back. Flapped at two crosses which didn't directly lead to the two goals but Utd kept pressure on and scored with next opportunity twice.

Comedy moment - Stelios getting man of the match on the big screen, presumably for his immaculate hairdo...

Worst bit - injury to Davis, but when the opportunity came Baird didn't put a foot wrong and linked well with McKenzie.

Best bits - 3 goals (fantastic Mallan free kick), another win, another win at home and the commitment all over the park...

If this type of openness with the fans is not a good advert for the new model of running the club then I really don't know what more can be done. Yes some will complain about Div being in the know and others not being but this quality of input coming directly from the club makes a massive difference in keeping the fans engaged and pulling in the same direction.

Like last term we need to start winning ugly and at all costs. There are the makings of a good few footballers in that team but they are lacking the leadership and guile to get them over the line in games like today.

I agree. Good post, however we have the benefit of being able to only finish 9th and then win the playoffs.

Have the playoffs been around for the last 20 years to cover all those 9th place relegations?

A lot of work to do but I think we will if we keep up recent progress...a win against Morton would go a long way to boosting morale...both on the pitch and on here...

Completely agree (although Europe would be dreamland), did the same, will likely do the same again if similar vote in the future and will accept the outcome/difference of opinion as I have done this time round.
