This might already have been covered but having watched those loonballs with their moronic protest at Dundee it is possible that they could do it again at our place only this time from both ends of the ground ( cue another debate altogether) thus causing even more disruption and delay than happened up in Dundee.

Motherwell showed great fighting spirit when a man down against Hibs in the cup. We appear to be a team easily bullied which shouldn’t be the case with guys like Power and Gogic in our side. 
let’s hope that the message gets across to the players that this is a must win game as this could give us a little momentum going into the last few games. With top six looking increasingly unlikely we don’t want to give St Johnstone an opportunity to make ground on us as I don’t fancy us if we get sucked back down to a play off place

Disappointing all round today. Fantastic start and while we might have edged the first half, certainly in terms of half chances, real pressure and corners, our ball retention and passing was overall poor. Credit to United they changed things at half time and upped the pace. We folded. No outball, static movement, poor decision making, slack and at times awful ball distribution. We didn’t deserve anything from today, especially in second half. 
whether this was down to Robinson tactics, lack of form of many players, failing to adjust to new managers instructions or maybe a combination who knows. 
l won’t judge Robinson on the remainder of this season but l don’t like the way he suggests too often that the quality of player he has is the main problem. Managers need to be able to take some of the aggro after displays like today. 
as for the sending off l will be interested in highlights as didn’t look like it was deserved. As for over 6 minute of extra time- unamused. Why say 4 on the board? 
at the end of the day betteR team won. 
Motherwell game last chance to at least pressurise others for top six, but overall we haven’t done enough this seaso, especially at home.

Wasn’t convinced by Robinson’s appointment. Now I am sure he won’t cut it. His substitutions are more baffling than Goodwin’s. I am now convinced he is out of his depth. Saying it’s early days doesn’t cut it. Also don’t like his poorly veiled comments about the quality of the squad. He is not getting the best out of what we have. All other results went our way. Only we could mangle ourselves when we appeared to be well ahead today, albeit by only 1 goal. Gutted doesn’t come near to describing how I feel right now.

Goodwin has steadied the ship this Season no question albeit it took him time to stop being so stubborn.
I’ve been a critic of him in the past as he can come across like he is some sort of tactical genius when he in fact is often the last person who sees what needs to be changed.
That said for him to go at a time where we really do seem to have found a formula that works, he legs it. Shit timing for the team and it’s concerning whether or not it disrupts our good run.
Aberdeen sacking Glass came at a bad time for us and I thought they would have gone for someone with more experience.
I guess we should be excited about who we can attract. Let’s hope our recent form and prospects attract decent quality leadership.

Thankfully we still have more than decent coaches at the club who can  see us through until the next Fergie arrives.

Far be it from me to get ahead of myself and I’m aware this falls very much into the “if ma auntie had baws” category, but what about this for a wee scenario.
An out of form Hearts go to St. Johnstone tomorrow which will be far from easy. If they were to lose and we were to win at Livi, followed by us winning our game in hand on Wednesday against Dundee, we’d go into the game against Hearts next weekend knowing that a win would put us only 2 points behind them and 3rd place in the league. 
That’s quite a thought…..and in fairness, probably quite a stretch too 🤣

This also raises a crucial point about the word “rebuffed”.
if Aberdeen approached us and we said beat it, surely at that stage we would simply have buffed them. If they approached us again and we said beat it again, only at that stage could we have rebuffed them. 🤔

Superb performance. Alnwick pulled off some unbelievable saves. Fell out of it in the second half but we are carrying a threat going forward which was great to see. Just a note on hibs tv. Great commentary and good football guys which made it a joy to watch( and the result!)

Jones is giving us a bit of width. 
A couple of great blocks from us prevented them going in front and better decision making from us in the final third would have brought a goal. Good game, very even and both teams going forward at every opportunity.
