Sonny

I have posted this on two St Mirren threads on a general Scottish football site called PieandBovril. Thanks for your general info.

We started with 4 players in a high press, who had not played regularly for months. Most should have been off at half time as they ran out of legs and we had plenty options on the bench. Big mistake.

Really poor today. Too many side and back passes and generally the passing was woeful. However my main concern was 4 times Well outstripped our defence to create 1 on 1 situations with Zach. And at one time we had all outfield players in their half but none in their penalty box. Sent from my SM-G980F using Tapatalk

All our defence does is float aimless balls forward to no-one. No wonder we cannot get anything going in midfield. Now in freefall.

Plays wide right but cuts in to the centre to shoot with his left. Sent from my SM-G980F using Tapatalk

Everyone happy now or still waiting for the scarf pic? Sent from my SM-G980F using Tapatalk

Well, you do what you want. Scott Burns has been correct about Saints transfers for years. Sent from my SM-G980F using Tapatalk

Scott Burns says it's happening which is good enough for me. [emoji846] Sent from my SM-G980F using Tapatalk

Bump. Think Caolan will be a very good addition to the squad. Pleased we gave him a deal after his trial period with us.

If you are half as good as Strain then you'll do. Welcome to Europe

Hearts sold out all their season tickets last season (15,500) and had a waiting list of over 2,000 for season tickets. Hopefully some day we will do the same . They did leave some seats available in the Roseburn Stand (the 3 other stands being sold out and most of the Roseburn) for walk-ups. And ST holders that couldn't attend a game could re-sell their ticket for that game allowing other walk-ups to attend. A great position to be in.

The Club have rejected a Conference League. Sent from my SM-G980F using Tapatalk

Well I am very disappointed Joe has gone as he was the best defender we had. Gallagher is 2 years older but I do not see any mention of him being past his best. Joe is rarely injured (unlike Gallagher) and poses a threat at set pieces as well as having the longest throw in by anyone in the squad. He is a model pro who doesn't throw toys out the pram and I would happily have let Fraser, Dunne or Gallagher go before Joe. Is he replaceable? Of course he is but still the best of what we had. Gallagher is very good when he is fit and not suspended but Joe provided the best bang for your buck.
