I don't get where this comes from, players develop better with game time, time against better teams develops them faster. Pressure to be top 6 meant Robinson had to go with tried and tested and I would never knock him as he gave us a great ride, one of the many ups I have witnessed, sadly more downs over time. I hope the new approach yields 2 bonuses, the first being players we can sell for more but the second is more attractive football as the youngsters we are bringing through have less fear, lots of energy and alot of skill
Mooney was picked up by Arsenal who are a little better than us based on how he was developing, Taylor was one of our better midfielders on Sunday, Sutherland was picked up by Wolves who were EPL at the time. So some make the grade others don't but if we don't play them and give them good experience they have no hope of developing. The youngsters who played on Sunday were no worse than our established players as everyone was making bad passes and they were not the ones that gave away a soft penalty the ref managed that all by himself. We had already won the group and all we lost was the seeding (and unfortunately got us Rangers) so no better match to blood them in v an aggressive and physical Dunfermline.
As for the others Penman still here and developing, Henderson played SPL and Championship (we just got beat by a team from there) for Ross county (plus I liked his direct play and willingness to take on a player more than I did McMenamin). Jamieson I will give you, lots of huff and puff but not as good.

Football NEEDS? I would suggest football is doing pretty damn good as it is without becoming a cash cow for investors with no interest in the game.

One of the things he said that there would be money to raise salaries. Not saying they do not deserve a pay rise but again can't help thinking it's bribery and corruption again

Infantino has just said that the proposal is only the beginning of a consultation process, surely consultation processes do not come with ultimatums of losing money if you do not agree.

Infantino is an embarrassment to world football, right from the fake peace award to that Trump ar$e kissing episode at the final. The world cup had Trump written all over it

That's my review for this season. [emoji16]

This has been a strange season. Three separate battles going on. The usual big two slugging it out. Both look to have improved on the previous season. The middle is where the action has been intense with only Hearts secure in third place. Saint Mirren, despite a change of manager mid season,touched 4th place briefly during a game. The fact that only the top three sides had a positive goal difference must say something about the standard of defending in the league. The bottom two probably deserve to be where they have finished but things could have gone differently very easily for teams up to 4th place just before the split. Maybe not a classic season but full of interest and this has continued into the playoffs. One game to go for the bottom six. Can’t wait for next season.

Robinson showed on Saturday that he has a willingness to change formation and personnel and it worked. Credit to him for that. 
Goodwin was very stubborn in that sense.
Like many others I have been very critical of his style and the content of his interviews but I haven’t got a clue whether or not he is a good coach or what his man management skills are like.
Anyone who can make Main play like he did on Saturday must have something about him.

I couldn’t agree with you more. From the start of the game we were playing as if it meant something.
Kiltie in a role he enjoys but , to me, it was Grieve and Main that worked an incredible shift. It’s probably Main’s best 90 minutes in the jersey.
We’re just about safe and this buys valuable time for Robbo.
All the previous chatter about Goodwin is of interest but he didn’t really achieve anything with us.  Don’t get me wrong, our winning run in 2022 was great.
Draws have been our downfall and most of those have been on his watch.
