My all time hero. Has provided some of my best memories in the game. He was twice European footballer of the year, been an international superstar but he signed for MY club. 2nd division Newcastle who had struggled for years since relegation and showed no hopes of improvement. Playing in a half finished ground when money to rebuild had ran out. The stuff of dreams and his winning debut and goal v QPR in 1982 still one the best days of my life.
My daughter and I were lucky to meet him at his Breahead place when we stopped off on the way to a saints game. I wore a retro 80s nufc top and who seemed like a random woman came and introduced us to the place. When we got talking she revealed she was Mrs Jean Keegan and promptly brought the great man over.
Fantastic! He spoke about all sorts of things. How he remembered wearing that kit and asked if I could remember a silver away version which he said they found it hard to see each other in. He told us how he had been unhappy in his latter days at Man City, saying he had one or two awkward players.
Onto the taking part in the course he had at Braehead. There I was trying to boot balls in the direction of some upright figures when a voice appeared from behind me. "Go on Geordie. Get your foot under the ball". My hero coaching me which only made me worse as lost any composure I had. A great experience and he signed my shirt before we left. Still treasure that shirt all these years later.

Watching what has happened its IMPOSSIBLE to think anything else.
Honestly. We are in for nightmare season. Feel sorry for the people who forked out big money for season tickets to be served up sub standard appointments on and off the park.
Apart from Gogic, Phillips and John not a single player of SPL standard. Chairman and CEO responsible for what is going to be an absolute shit show!

Heeds up Buds. We’ll play worse and win this season. Scoreline flatters Celtic. We didn’t take our chances unfortunately, especially Kilts header. It’s a sore one because with a bit of luck and a decent draw I think we could’ve gone quite far in the cup. 
Big push for a European spot now. We have the players and manager to do it.  

Gogic has been superb for us. As you say, his goal yesterday just typifies his attitude on the pitch. He’s the top player in the league for tackles/ball wins and his energy must rub off on the rest of the team. He’s rarely injured (touch wood), has great experience at international level too, can bag a goal, great engine and is versatile. I’ve got mates that support teams like Aberdeen and Hearts that say they would want him at their clubs. 
Wonder if some of the reported big bucks that we would have been spending on Van Veen can be used to get him signed up on a decent contract. I know there’s an offer on the table at the moment. 
What a brilliant result yesterday. A win against a strong Dundee team on Wednesday would be massive for our top six push. Some big games coming up for us. 

It's probably more to do with it getting lost because some numpty starts the threads 2 years before the game to make sure he gets to do it.

I see everyone's buzzing for this match, only the 3rd post in a thread that's over 6 weeks old tells it's own story, like most I despise home games against the arse cheeks..

Big defensive midfielder. Not made any headway at Celtic. Doesn’t look any better than a fully firing O’Hara, Gogic or Baccus from these clips but must have something if Celtic took a punt on him. 
Good luck to him and hopefully he gets the games he’s after and is a valuable addition and not a replacement for Baccus.

Jesus Christ 😂 that’s an unfortunate coincidence user name in no way linked to that club or incident. I’m not into the old firm stuff but I particularly dislike Rangers as a club.
