When people comment on tragic events on social media relating to football teams with "rivalries aside from a xxxxx fan"
You saw it alot with the Leicester helicopter crash and when she wee boy who was the Sunderland fan died of cancer.
"Rivalries aside from a Newcastle fan"
Why do you need to mention what football team you support or even say rivalries aside? Just post your message and leave football out of it.
Wow that's really great of you to show empathy for a dying child who supports a different football team to you.

It's far better that we have our own database with our own data now than being held over a barrel by some 3rd party company.
Interstadia were a joke and the system never worked. The current situation isn't perfect either but at least we own and control our own data. Thats an improvement.

Having worked in computers since the 60s and still running and building websites for businesses today, I know that user error played no part in the interstadia f**k-ups.  Being patient and supportive, I tried to help them resolve it.  They failed.
I must have had 10000 emails delivered to and from my email address, but interstadia couldn’t recognise it.  The sole inept company with which I tried to do business.
There was also constant f**k-ups with the old system, cards not being recognised, entry being denied, queues at turnstiles, non-admissions.  It was never better in the past.  Different f**k ups, different bits that worked. Never better.
You’re fantasising to fit a weird agenda and… when you so desperately scrape the barrel with sad, tired ageist and ad hominem tropes… you’re obviously as inadequate and bereft of credible/true thoughts as fartaway.
    You're simply unbelievable.

I just don't see any positive attributes from him. He's got no presence at all as a striker, isn't fast, isn't strong, doesn't score etc.
I agree he was far from the only problem today. Many of them had really bad games and the managers lack of ability to change anything is a big problem as well.
It's just baffling that Adams seems to be a stick-on to start every game and it seems like its based on absolutely nothing as I don't see what he contributes at all.

Che Adams has got to be one of the worst players I've ever seen playing for Scotland - and thats saying something.
The game today was lost in midfield but having absolutely zero presence up front really didn't help.

The introduction of Killie into the league probably gives us another 2 sold out away end games. With that said the cost of living crisis is going to have an impact this year for sure so I don't really see there being an increase on average attendance overall. Maybe a slight decrease.

I can't see him turning things around this season based on the fact we are looking worse and worse with each passing week.
I would like to have seen him get the chance to build his own team over the summer and start fresh. Unfortunately I don't think we can afford to wait till the summer now though.
We are in free fall at the moment and I think the only way to have a chance of turning it around is to get rid of him now and hope for a slight change in fortune in the last few games. If we don't do something now we are going down.

Don't like the idea of getting rid of managers this quickly but this has been a disaster on a new level so far. Beyond belief actually how bad it's been.

Just seen a poll over in the madhouse that is the St Mirren fans Facebook page.
Over 150 saying give the manager time.
Just over 40 say he should go.
Interesting as the most vocal on here are for shipping him out.

Yeah i thought Ian Murray was a good appointment too. With Murray and now Robinson, it became clear quite early on that it wasn't going to work out. I think Robinson may have done well coming into a struggling team who needed a rocket up their arse. But we weren't struggling, we didn't need any rockets or upheaval. Robinson brought the fireworks anyway, pissed the team off, and here we are. Fourth on PPG in February and looking like we are going to be 11th in May.
It's interesting watching his interviews change as things have got progressively worse. His first few interviews were all 'good squad of players, we are aiming for top six, europe etc' Perfectly reasonable quotes given the situation inherited. Then we start losing and it's 'I always knew we were in a relegation battle but we have the players to get us out it'. Then the losses keep coming and it's 'only 14 fit players (which is a lie)' and implying the squad isn't good enough. m
You can tell by his recent quotes that he thinks relegation is very much on, and he's now trying to protect his reputation by claiming it's actually not his fault and we were going down regardless of his appointment. No one with eyes is buying it of course, it's pretty much all his fault. He knows he'll be sacked if he takes us down and he's now thinking of his future employment prospects in his interviews. Terry Butchers managerial career effectively ended when he took Hibs down in 2014. What Robinson is doing to us is much worse, and you can hear the fear in his voice,.

Indeed, they have rolled the dice and, at the moment, it looks like paying off, and with the money involved, big time.
Since they sacked Dyche they have drawn, won and are currently winning against Wolves.
IF it stays as it is they will be above Everton who are odds on to get pumped today, although Everton will still have a game in hand.
UPDATE: Burnley did, in fact, win and are sitting above Everton.

Theres always an overreaction by the media every time an English manager gets sacked in the EPL.
He's had a good crack at it and they've been good to him as much as he's been good to them over the years.
If anyone watched that game against Norwich they'd know how bad Burnley are at the moment. The board are entitled to roll the dice and hope for the 'new manager bounce' IMO.
It's either that or certain relegation because thats where it was going.

Sacking Maloney now is a shocking decision. It shows that the Hibs board have no idea what their doing and theres no long term decisions being made.
If you hire a rookie manager you implicitly sign up for giving the manager time and need to accept that there will be mistakes. You don't hire a guy to do a job he's never done before then be surprised when he makes mistakes.
Whether they should have hired a rookie manager in the first place is something else though.

I wonder if this would be a good thread to discuss a bugbear of mine? If there is anyone who has some influence to fix this issue It would be most appreciated.
Since the start of this season  i have noticed that the SMISA wall between the main stand and family stand has been very difficult to read due to vehicles being parked right up against the wall (see photo below from hearts game) This makes it very difficult to view the names and impossible if your a wheelchair user. Saints fans and there relatives from other parts of the world visit now and again and have difficulty viewing the wall. Come on Saints, are you saying that our car parks not big enough? these are the fans that dug deep to help out  through out the years, show a bit of respect.

    Morecambe fan here!
As you can imagine, a great many of us south of the border are keeping a bit of an eye on what's going on at St Mirren. There is a certain element of schadenfreude about the situation - although to be clear this is directed entirely at Robinson and O'Carroll, and not at St Mirren fans!
For the lowdown on Robinson with us - he came in at quite a difficult time. He only had three contracted players and essentially had to build a large amount of the squad from scratch. Not to mention he was starting a month behind most clubs due our play-off campaign.
He recruited some decent players but there were unfortunately a couple of pretty key gaps - a big aerial centre back, a defensive midfielder and our goalkeepers were very poor.
Started the season well, I think largely due to 'good vibes' following promotion and Cole Stockton being ridiculously good, but then around November/December the weaknesses began to catch up with us and our form and results took an absolute nosedive.
Robinson generally blamed personnel (although he did admit responsibility for this in his recruitment) and in fairness to him, he wasn't wrong. Anthony O'Connor has been a good signing at the back but his centre back partners were incredible weak, and he had goalkeepers underperforming behind him. I thought the set-up of the team overall was good and we pressed very smartly and efficiently, but every time the opposition got into our final third it was always incredibly dangerous.
Come January, Robinson absolutely sorted those problems out. Got a good keeper in Trevor Carson, a couple of good centre backs and a defensive midfielder to be used when called for. Suddenly, we looked far stronger as a team and even our attacking productivity even improved as well - guessing this was partly due to them having more confidence in our defence. Also helped that our two best attacking midfielders managed to shake off some injury troubles.
Got a couple of great wins in January, and performances continued to be at a high standard into February. Despite results not going our way, a lot of this was due to bad luck, some bizarre circumstances and good goalkeeping/bad finishing. I'd cautiously predict that if Robinson had stayed, results would have started to turn in our favour a bit more often as the performances were there.
So the irony is, he left just as he was beginning to sort things out and find a bit of a groove. Now he appears to be back at square one with St Mirren, albeit with a vastly higher salary! I'd say he is a good manager and worth giving time to, but results have gone to pot particularly drastically which is quite alarming. Not sure he's got much of a leg to stand on if you get relegated - although I'm not sure how likely this is as I'm not too clued up on the teams around you etc.
Oh and an Obika update! He's just been incredibly unfortunate. Got a massive hamstring injury in pre-season which kept him out until the end of December, and then understandably took time to find a bit of mojo again. He's also playing second fiddle to Stockton, who is absolutely undroppable and has been incredible this season with 21 league goals.

Do I like what I’m seeing on the pitch ? - No
Should we judge Robinson on what has happened so far ?  - Certainly not !!
The manager should be given at least a transfer window or two to get his players in and show his vision of what we should be .

Top six would be nice This season but if we don’t make it , I’d point the finger at the former boss rather than his replacement . Next season will prove whether Robinson was the wise choice or not.
