Some absolute mutants in our support reading some of the abuse Oran is getting on social media really makes me ashamed to support the same club as these clowns.

Give the man who he wants - no brainer. Can it be any more dubious than Darren Jackson?

When there has been 5 managers in 3 years including himself, I would be taking my time over my families permanent location too. Club also surely knew where things stood prior to him accepting the job.

If Oran feels he can do the job travelling then he should stay. The man has what it takes. 

If GS appoints Gus it will be hugely disappointing and another backward step. I will be very sorry to lose OK. 

I thought Flynn was good defensively today particularly second half. Jamieson excellent. Plenty positives.

So what you’re insinuating is that people in W7 are part of some well hidden illegal activities and deserve to be disturbed at 9am? 
No one is bullshitting about how innocent they are, no one has done anything wrong.  
If we’d been involved in any issues previously I could maybe accept your dig - but please enlighten me, what exactly is the crime?
For clarity, a member of the groups house was visited , the police warned about “organised violence”, when was the last time our fans have got involved in anything like that? Certainly not in recent memory and anyone that’s stood with us at games would know that the group is nothing like that.
W7 is family friendly, lots of young fans waving flags, singing etc. Some of the banners might be on the edge of what’s acceptable, but that’s what makes it fun. Take fun away and you’ve officially ruined Scottish football. 
Stop making out that there’s some deep rooted issue within our support. We have one of the most vocal supports in Scotland, but also one of the best behaved. It’s comments like yours that damage the clubs reputation when the media go seeking a story that isn’t actually there. 

Oran does speak well and is an intelligent man, however I don't know why yous all think you are getting a brilliant manager, it's a different level for him now, tactically is he good enough etc, great man manager, I suppose time will tell but I wouldn't be getting to excited.

Gutted to lose Oran as our manager, gentleman and very mart man, I really hope he does well for your club,  group of us are wishing to come over and see him manage a game, how would we get some tickets.
 
I believe Oran took the boat over this morning, he took training last night and told the players he is taking the St Mirren job.

Maybe its the 12-week contract he is being offered that's making him hesitant.

This week saw the end for more than just Alan Stuubs, surely Cole Kpekewa will soon be on the hunt for a job as well?
 
No harm to the lad, like me he just cannae play football!

I've got a degree more sympathy for Stubbs than many.
I never felt a bit of sorrow for either Tommy Craig (who was a snake) or Alex Rae (who was a horrible wee shite) though.
Stubbs seems like a decent enough big guy who just went about his business in such a ham-fisted manner that it undone a lot of good work in a very short period of time.

If that's the case we should just give him Josh Heaton.  

Crystal Palace knew they had made a bad appointment after about 4 games last season and binned their manager, it saved their season.

I was disappointed to read about police visiting the homes of several of the young people who sit in W7. This is a group that have done much to bring a bit of atmosphere to a stadium largely bereft of it. As far as I am aware there has been no trouble whatsoever from this group of fans yet it appears the Club has been asked to provide the identity and home addresses of the season ticket holders in W7 and unannounced  police visits have resulted.
What is going on? 
I feel the Club should offer some form of clarification. If singing and banging a drum is going to get these kids into trouble they should know about it.

FFS, that was tremendous.
I don't really care that it was a poor, scrappy 1st half. We did more than enough to win that match. Lewis Morgan is absolutely f**king stellar. That said, I thought they all played their part tonight. It is undoubtedly a team game, and Morgan would be the first to confirm that.
No critique from me tonight. What a hugely memorable and impressive calendar year it has been.  No Saints fan would have dared hope for such a turnaround. Dared to dream.
What a guy Jack Ross is, though. Tick tock indeed!
 

I think he retired round about the time we moved to the new ground.

I've not bought a new tyre for some time, but I've always found Alan Dean's place in Lacey street really reasonable & helpful - with the added bonus that he's a Saints fan.
I think he's retired now, but AFAIK he still owns the place.

Fair play to him but why he wants to stay with us until he is 43 years old is beyond me.
