Celtic (A) 11/04/26
Saints were clearly the better team for most of the match, other than the opening 10 minutes or so. Performances have picked up sigificantly under McLeish. Based on today's game alone, the Buddies should be favourites for the semi next week.

St. Mirren v Aberdeen 4th April, 2026
Our football today (at least in the first half) was reminescent of 'Fergie's Furies' and subsequent performances under Ricki Macfarlane and Jim Clunie. It beats 'Robbo Ball' any day.

Has anyone noticed? One of our regular posters is conspicuous by his absence on this joyful day.

Do you mean pass pass marks? If so, I think you should have included Devaney.- Dundee Utd v St Mirren, Tue 3rd March
Looks like we're aiming for worst performance of the season - and that's saying something!- Hibernian v St Mirren Sat 14th Feb
That plus lack of basic technical ability and creativity.- Airdrie v St Mirren Cup Feb 2026
Maybe once we learn to pass the ball to each other, rather than the opposition, things will improve. However, I'm not holding my breath. Maybe once we stop playing left footed players on the right wing, things will improve. However, .....- Livingston v St Mirren, Tue 20th Jan
This is shaping up for our worst performance of the season - and that's saying something.- The Buddies v Livi - 20 December
Even the BBC pundits are commenting on the number of VAR decisions that have gone against St Mirren - probably more so than any other team. We are paying apparently £200,000 PA for VAR - and so far it has also cost us a top six place in the SPL. through the incompetency on the officials' part (but not the technology itself).- The Buddies v Livi - 20 December
Surely Taylor will start this afternoon with O'Hara getting back into the action as a sub? Will John have recovered in time from Sunday's efforts?- The Buddies v Livi - 20 December
Following Sunday's epic league cup final victory, this would be a good time to mark that achievement by resuscitating this forum, before it dies off completely. But only if it involves grown-up behaviour and respect being shown to each other. Saturday's game against Livi is a biggy.- The Buddies v Livi - 20 December
After the euphoria of Sunday - back to the bread & butter of the home game against Livi. What's the chance we will not do it the St Mirren way and actually win? Will our heroes have shaken off their hangovers in time?- St Mirren v Celtic, League Cup Final Sun 14th Dec
