Although we are in a dire situation can honestly write I am enjoying the football we are playing under Jack Ross. There is a team trying hard to fight for the cause something for me not seen for a long time a feeling we have something special an air of positivity, go into games where I feel we can win this game. Not experienced that feeling for many years. So well done Jack Ross and the team. Lastly would love to see this thread binned the title of the thread is very poor considering what we are seeing on the pitch.

I think it's only right that G Irvine should be applauded for his recent performances, he's took some amount of stick on here while being played out of position but since being switched back to his more natural RB slot he's put in some top class performances and it also gives the back 4 a far better ballance....Well done Gary..

A massive thanks to everyone who turned up (despite the heavy rain) today in Erskine and supported the St Mirren Fans Squad against M**ton Fans.. Plenty of money was raised in aid of Cancer Research and we even managed to hammer the "mighty" Ton 4-0. Cheers to Hugh McMillan (photos below) & Allan Picken for taking photos of today's game and a huge thank you to the volunteers (Zoe, Amy, Kiara etc) who went around selling programmes and raffle tickets for the charity. #COYS

I have a ST in the main stand so it doesn't really affect me but I've never really understood putting the away fans in the West stand, does it really save much money not opening the away stand compared to putting the segregation in place and having extra stewards next to the away fans etc. Get the away fans in the away end and fill the corner of the west stand with free tickets for kids if necessary.

I'd been trying to wean myself off it - and off of financially supporting the corrupt cabal running Scottish fitba. I now think I've achieved that. I won't go. I just won't subsidise them any more. In season 71/72 we finished in that exact position. The following season we ended up 23rd. The next season was the worst in our history when we ended the season in 29th place. Lastly in 74/75 we finished 24th. I'm old enough to have watched all four seasons and remember well this one in particular. The reason I remember it so well was that there were fans like yourself who thought we should have been closer to the champions Falkirk, and should not have appointed an inexperienced manager but instead went for the tried and trusted. That inexperienced manager was Alex Ferguson.

Great second half today. Magennis, Mallan and Morgan were superb. The latter having skinned their right back about 50 times by the end of the game. Also special mention to Stephen McGinn. What a player and what a leader.
